Used Records are visually graded.
- Mint - Brand new, sealed. Record is assumed to be in perfect condition.
- Near Mint - Near brand new condition, but not sealed.
- Very Good+ - A record in very good condition previously owned by someone who took good care of it. May have minor cosmetic imperfections that are unlikely to affect playback. Sleeve may have slightly dented corners or other signs of light wear.
- Very Good - A record in mostly good condition that may have a few light marks, a minor warp and/or show signs of groove wear. Sleeve may be moderately worn, with possible writing from a previous owner, small seam-splits, and/or light ring-wear.
- Good - A record with several marks or scratches resulting in audible surface noise and "ticks" or "pops". Sleeve is quite worn possibly with large seam-splits or taped-together seams, ring-wear, and/or substantial damage to corners.
- Poor - A significantly warped or damaged record that is likely to skip or cause a poor listening experience. Sleeve is heavily worn and likely falling apart completely.
